Jinglei clad steel pipe gains API 5LD approval

On Nov. 22, 2013, Sichuan Jinglei Science and Technology Co.Ltd has obtained approval for the manufacturer and processor of Clad Steel Pipe in accordance with API Spec 5LD.
Jinglei Clad Steel Pipe is made of Clad Steel Plate (carbon plate with a stainless steel, corrosion resistant alloy layer), finished with a submerged arc weld (SAW). The clad steel pipe allows for the cost effective recovery of previously unviable reserves in mature and sour service fields, which contain high levels of hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and Carbon Dioxide (CO2).
By using clad steel plate materials, the excellent strength and toughness of carbon-manganese steels are combined with the corrosion resistance of high-alloyed materials.
